Some relief in real estate downturn


Continuing with earlier posts, lot of houses are still selling for less than asking. Some are getting their listing price reduced. Unlike last few months, there are 1 or 2 house which got sold for higher than asking. This is month of February, so folks could be planning for next school year. That might explain some stabilization in the prices. Here is the list:

1. 968 Helena dr Sunnyvale sold ~$30k above asking for $2.32mill on 2/27/19
2. 2870 Mauricia ave Santa Clara sold for $60k less than asking at $1.51mill on 2/26/19
3. 923 S Tantau ave Cupertino sold for $20k less than asking at $1.72mill on 2/22/19
4. 21695 Regnart rd Cupertino sold for $10k less than asking at $2.55mill on 2/22/19
5. 6411 Canterburry ct San jose sold for $320k above asking at $1.92mill on 2/22/19.
    This one is interesting as it is a 1270sqft house selling for close to $2million. This kind of loft y           prices pushed the market lower last time. Have to wait and see how it turns out this time.

6. 22414 Riveside dr Cupertino sold for $200k above asking for $2.4mill on 2/21/19.
